Obviously, many people will automatically go to the negative side of this news (Dont worry, I did that too.) but you have to remember that these two men are leaving for…
God damn it, Fred. If you leave, Ill never forgive you. Dont even think about it.

In case you haven’t seen the millions of posts, Bill Hader and Seth Meyers are leaving SNL.
Obviously, many people will automatically go to the negative side of this news (Dont worry, I did that too.) but you have to remember that these two men are leaving for good reasons and good things can come out of this. The have lives to go on with. In Bill’s case, he wants to move his family out to CA for his and his wife’s career. Seth is going to take over for Jimmy Fallon! That seems pretty awesome to me. Plus, we get a few more wonderful faces added to the SNL family and the current members will have more room to show their talent.
But of course, we will all end up feeling bitter. I mean after all, these two have been on the show for many years. It’ll take a while to get used to their absence. We will never forget the work they’ve done on this ancient show. From Bill’s spot on impressions to all of the times he’s broke character right on live tv to all the times he was a Vogelcheck.
From Seth’s weird sketches from his first season to all of the times he believed Garth and Kat would actually preform good songs on Weekend Update.
So, while it is almost certain we will become upset by this and maybe even cry a little (..ahem..), we have to remember its for the best just like the parting of every other beloved cast member. We all have to remember on that last episode that they are just as upset as we are about their departure but it could be good for many, many reasons. We get to see Bill in more movies and see Seth almost every night!
